Welcome to the Orange County Chapter of the California Academy of American Physicians!

The Orange County Chapter of the California Academy of Family Physicians actively provides our Orange County Family Physicians with educational lectures on evidence based topics of current interest, complete with CME credits for AAFP (American Academy of Family Physician) members and certificates of course completion for non-AAFP members.

Our CME events are held at the OC Medical Association (OCMA) offices at

5000 Campus Drive, Newport Beach CA 92660

Our events offer opportunities to network with your colleagues, learn about products from our sponsor representatives, sample delicious hors d’oeuvres, and enjoy a delicious buffet dinner while listening to stimulating lectures with Q/A sessions.

The goal of the Orange County Chapter of the California Academy of Family Physicians is to provide you with professional lectures of the highest caliber.

AAFP Membership

AAFP membership is unified, which means that members are required to belong to the national AAFP and to their state chapter. The AAFP has a chapter for each of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Uniformed Services, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Members are also required to belong to a local chapter, if one exists in their area.

Chapter membership makes it convenient for AAFP members to access relevant information and focused resources right where they live and work. Chapters offer local and regional opportunities to network, mentor, volunteer, take a leadership role, and get involved in the AAFP.
