[ANSWER: CME credits are provided for most events. For our AAFP members, we offer sign-in sheets, which are submitted to the AAFP office following each meeting, including our guests’ AAFP membership numbers. That is why guests are asked to provide/verify their number at time of event check-in/registration. Due to the popularity of the technical content of our guest lectures, AAFP members may invite non-AAFP physician colleagues. To facilitate receipt of CME credits for these non-AAFP guests, we now provide Certificates of Attendance at the Registration table, which may be submitted by the non-AAFP member to their medical accrediting body.]

[QUESTION: Will there be any raffles or prizes for attendees?]

[ANSWER: There are random numbers drawn for raffle prizes at every CME Lecture Event.]

[QUESTION: Are the dinners free of charge?]

[ANSWER: So far, all events are provided free of charge to our OC Chapter members and medical students. We have been very pleased with the support of several vendors: Merck & Co, Inc.; Bayer; Sanofi aventis; DonJoy Orthopedics; Medtronic; P&G Pharmaceuticals; Sepracor; GlaxoSmithKline; Pathology Inc, a Medical Corporation; and Abraxas Medical Solutions, Inc.

[QUESTION: May non- physicians attend, or may I bring a guest?]

[ANSWER: OC-CAFP Member Physicians are welcome to bring either non-member physicians or non-physicians as guests, but please note that there will be a $25 cash/check guest fee for them at Registration. Also, please note that anyone who has not RSVP’d by the RSVP deadline for each event, will be charged $25 cash/check fee upon registration.]
